  About wesak festival. Vesak festival is a religious festival. It is celebrated during May, by Buddhists all over the world. On this day, all Buddhists go to the temple, offer flowers, light oil lamps, and worship the Buddha. Most of the Buddhists observe sil.  Buddhists commemorate the important events that took place in the life of Lord Buddha on this day. First comes the birth of Siddhartha Gautama in Lumbini in Nepal which took place under the arbor of Sat trees where queen Mahamaya gave birth to him. The second event was Siddharta Gautam’s supreme attainment as the Buddha, the Enlightened One. The third event was Lord Buddha’s Parinibbana over 2500 years ago at kusinagar.   Teachers are one of the most important pillars of our society. 👩‍🏫 Teachers play a very important role in building a mannerly society. They not only teach us manners but also show the path of success.  That is why, i want to became a good, hardworking, helpful teacher and want to make studies easier for students.  Ever since I was a child, I wanted to study well and share my knowledge with others.But among them my favorite subject was music. Because it is very calm subject and i like it very much. So i learn well and i do my best for my students oneday. 💪❤️ I want to make a good music clz  where i can educate the poor free of cost.   The most unforgettable moment in my life is the day when my pet dog died.🐶😔 He was a small puppy. It was the first puppy in our house.  So, i was very sad.☹️ It name was shadow. And it's colour was black. When I called shadow, he ran to me wherever he was.😣  One morning my mother came and called me sadly.  When I asked why, he told me the details.  I immediately ran to his kannel.  I saw it sleeping in a corner of the kannel.  I called shadow.  But it didn't get up😣. I cried and hugged him for a long time.😭 Anyway, I had to leave him forever. Actually, It was an unbearable pain. If you are a dog lover you  know that pain.☹️

  Actually i have lot of friends. My friends from childhood are still with me.🤗 It is a great strength for me. We all need friends in life.😇  We need them a lot in our sorrows and joys. I have many female friends as well as male friends.👫 Although this is the beginning of my university, I met many new friends.❤️  actually,  There are many good people among them. But there are bad friends among them.😒  Anyway, I can learn many lessons from them to life.  When we study, we can share our knowledge.  And also we can share our every problems with them. 🤗 According to my personal point of view, friends are the gifts of god who support us whenever  we tend to fall in our lives. 🙏❤️ my new friends also very good😊.   Everyone has someone they love in their life. So, I also have someone in my life whom I love very much. That is my mom.❤️🤱 Actually i love her very much.  My mother name is nirosha kumari.She was born in anuradhapura. She is 43 years old now.There are ten members in her family. Actually my mom has a very big family.  She is very fun and very sensitive. she's very beautiful for me. 🤗💖  Actually speaking She is my everything💖.  I can share my everything with her. She never scolds me. she warns me if I do wrong. The first best friend I ever met in my life was my mother😇 And also the first teacher in my life is my mother. 👩‍🏫 she teached me good manners. She is a good housewife.My mother can cook well. Nothing compares to the food he cooks.No matter where I go, I can't wait to eat the food he cooks. I can't imagine a world without mom.😣 I love my mother so much and she is the best mom in the word.❤️🌍

  My home town is anuradhapura. It is situated in the north central province of sri lanka.  It belongs to the dry zone.   Anuradhapura was the first kingdom in the history of Sri Lanka.it was ruled by famous kings such as King Pandukabaya, King Dhathusena, King Dutugamunu and King Walagamba.🤴  Actually speaking, Anuradhapura  is famous for its historical heritage and there are many historical places, ruins and monuments such as the Sacred Bo Tree, Ruwanweliseya, the Samadhi Buddha Statue, the Queen’s Pond, Moonstones and the Elephant Pond. Many local and foreign people come to watch these.  I see pujaniya places in the morning and evening while going to school and classes.  I feel so lucky. I am personally very proud to have been born in such a precious city.😊 

  My name is harshani shashikala.😇 I'm 21 years old. I'm from Anuradhapura. My birthday is on 5th of march.🎂 My birthday is coming soon.🤭 Now I'm an undergraduate the university of the visual and performing arts. According to my personal poin of view, university life is very good to improve our knowledge and habbits.  Now i am going to tell about my family background.🏠 Actually i have very small family. There are four members in my family. They are father, mother, brother, and me.👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 My father is a retire army soldier.👨‍✈️ And my mother is a house good wife. She is my every thing. And also i can share my all with her.❤️ My brother is an A/l student of the walisinghe harischandra college in anuradhapura.  He is good at study.  So i can say that i have a very good family.  My short term goal is to complete my music degree👩‍🎓 and my long term goal is to be a good musician one day.   💪❤️

  Everyone has different activities to spend their free time. 😊 It varies from person to person. I do different things to spend my free time. I do things like " reading books,📖 drawing,✏️ play violin and tabla,🎻  watching movies,💻 listening to music,🎧  talking with my parents 😇 " etc. During my free time.   Among them, I am very fond of drawing.😊 Because,  it is much more interesting than the others.🤗 It gives me happiness. And it helps me to control my mind. 💆‍♀️ So, In my free time,  I spend a lot of time  drawing. I am not good at drawing.  But I like it very much.❤️

  Everyone has many hobbies that are unique to them. I also have many hobbies. 😊 Among them, I like to try different kinds of delicious food.🌮🥪🥣🍜 According to my personal point of view, it makes me very  happy.💖 I don't get enough time to cook but i try my best.💪  At first,  i used to help my mom in her cooking. But later i found that i really enjoy cooking.🤗 I watch YouTube videos regularly which helps me to gain so much knowledge on different types of cooking.  Most of the time I like to make sweet food.😋 It's my pleasure.  So i make sweet food during my free time.🥞🥨🧀 So far i have tried many types of food.😋

 I have many important days in my life.❤️  So i like to share a day in my life with you.  🤗                                  It was my 20th birthday.🎂  My father surprised me with a gift on my birthday.🎁  I  actually quickly opened the box to find inside a puppy with beautiful and soft white colour hair.🐶 This is my first pet and i loved it so much.  It's name is bruni . It is female.Now it is very big. She can understand us very well. I love her very much. I can't imaging  a world without it. 💜
